Appointment of Classteacher.  We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Jennifer Wilde, who will join us in September as Classteacher for Years 3 and 4.  Mrs Wilde, who has been a teacher for 10 years, comes to us from an academy in Barnsley.  We offer her a warm welcome.

 

KS2 Production of Oliver!   For the whole school!  Do not miss!  Please support the children by booking tickets – they have worked so hard for this.  The  rehearsals sound brilliant  – get your tickets now (£1 each).  There are two shows, Monday 10 July at 2pm and Tuesday 11 July at 6pm.  Please order by using the reply slip.

 

KS2 Sleepover.  Well done to everyone who took part in the sleepover.  The amount raised for

St Wilfrid’s Centre for the Homeless was over £350 – an amazing amount!

 

Sports Day on 17 July. As always, we warmly invite all families to come along and bring a picnic lunch.  However, if your child will require a packed lunch PROVIDED BY SCHOOL, please complete and return the slip below, by Monday 9 July.  No need to reply otherwise.

Results of Move It Homework.     Fifty per cent of children returned their homework diaries.

This was a super effort with a range of different activities.  The winners are:
