Important!   McIntyre Rd will be closed to traffic 7am to 7pm from Monday 25 April for two weeks.  Any vehicles on the road will be towed away – don’t let that happen to you!

 

Current Heatwave (will it last???).  Do remember sunblock for your children – they will apply it themselves before going out to play.  Also – water bottles!

Well done Penny Bowring and Magan Staniforth for doing themselves proud in the Normanton Sports 10th anniversary Competitions!  We are told they were both outstanding!

 

PE during the Summer Term.  Please ensure that all children have an outdoor PE kit (including trainers).  Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have PE on Thursdays.  Also – it is essential that KS1 footballers on Mondays bring proper kit and footwear.  They may NOT play in school uniform!

 

Parents’ Evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday 1st and 2 May.

Please use the slip below to book a slot for the Summer term parents’ evenings (ten minutes per child – confirmation will be sent to you).  Book early to ensure a convenient time slot.

 

Dates to Remember.

  • Do go along to Underbank Centre Open Day tomorrow 21 April.  All sorts of activities on offer, including bushcraft, climbing, watersports etc.  Pre-book your unlimited wristband for just £12pp by ringing 01782 722226.
  • Charlie’s Fundraiser: Stocksbridge Leisure Centre on Sunday 22 April 9am to 12 noon.  Bouncy castle, trampoline etc.  Very worthy cause.
  • SATS Week.  14 to 18 May.
  • Spring Bank.  28 May to 1st June.
