First Holy Communion on Sunday 20 May at St Ann’s Church (12.30pm).
Please pray for our children as they make their First Holy Communion. The preparation team are really proud of the children as they have worked hard for their special day – Mateo, Maisie, Joshua, Maria and others. Assembly for First Holy Communion next Monday at 2.15pm. Do join us.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
A new data privacy law is being introduced into the UK on Friday 25 May. As a result, we are publishing several Privacy Notices. These will make it easy for you to find out how we use and protect your information in school. The new notices (which will shortly be on our website) will provide you with additional details:
• Your increased rights with relation to the information we hold about you
• How we keep your personal information secure
• The types of personal information we collect about you and how we use it
• The legal grounds for how we use your information

Appointment of New Caretaker. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Simon Stanley, who will succeed Mr Down in July. We offer Mr Stanley a warm welcome to our school!

Reminders!
• Y5 and Y6 Cricket on 8 June – return your slips urgently! Same for KS1 Tennis Festival next Tuesday. NO Boxfit after school on Thursday 24 May.
• Gymnastics and Streetdance now full. A few places left in Outdoors and Adventure.

Dates to Remember.
• Ride For Eric on Sunday 20 May at Forge Valley School. Family rides to suit everyone.
• Tuesday 22 May. Pentecost Parade through Stocksbridge (approx. 9.30am). Parents are welcome to walk with us – as always, we appreciate your support.
• Exhibition by local artists on Saturday 2 June, 10am to 3pm, at Christ Church Hall, Manchester Rd, Stocksbridge. Admission £1 – children free. Do come along – you may even wish to buy a painting!
