At St Ann’s we aim to develop pupils awareness and empower them to help others in need. Throughout the year children will have the opportunity to fundraise and raise awareness of social and environmental issues.
Today we stand in
solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Ukraine and those that have been displaced due to the war, as we join others across the UK in a 2 minute silence.
Fratelli Tutti: Pope Francis has written a letter to everyone, asking us to reach out to our sisters and brothers in need, whoever they are, wherever they may come from. We are all challenged to think of ourselves as a single global family living in a common home, and neighbours to all.
Fraternal love means caring for every man and woman, young and old, with the same care as the Good Samaritan, who refused to walk by and ignore the injured man as other people had done.
